about the preacher … Mark and Jennifer Bello and their two kids, Jacob and Sarah, are originally from Irvine, California. In January of 2011, Mark sensed a calling from God to move to Japan to help reduce the suicide rate. In August 2012, after working in Information Technology for 25 years, Mark answered that call and they sold their house, belongings, and cars to relocate to Tokyo. In the last two years, they have established a Japanese non-profit called Suicide Is A Lie and developed resources to bring hope and change to the nation. Having been active in prayer ministry at their CA home church–Newsong Church, Mark and Jenn welcome the opportunities to minister in prayer in their current school and church community.

Lamentations 3

19 The thought of my affliction and my homelessness

    is wormwood and gall!

20 My soul continually thinks of it

    and is bowed down within me.

21 But this I call to mind,

    and therefore I have hope:

22 The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases,[b]

    his mercies never come to an end;

23 they are new every morning;

    great is your faithfulness.

24 “The Lord is my portion,” says my soul,

    “therefore I will hope in him.”

25 The Lord is good to those who wait for him,

    to the soul that seeks him.

26 It is good that one should wait quietly

    for the salvation of the Lord.
