Lent began on Wednesday, March 6, 2019.  Lent should not be practiced out of any kind of pressure – it is simply a way to draw us closer to Christ to remember and give thanks for what He did on the Cross for us. Whether you actually “give up” something or “add something” during these forty days leading up to Easter (i.e. reading Scripture or prayer), may this be a time to draw you closer to the grace and forgiveness found in Jesus Christ. Happy Lent.
