Sunday, November 10th

Our Sunday will begin with Adult Sunday School at the Sacks from 9:30-10:30 a.m. with a continuation of our Parable series facilitated by Pastor Teresa – Parable of the Lost Sheep.  Come and enjoy a hot java while we explore Jesus` parables this year.

During the Worship Service which begins at 11:00, we heartily welcome Rev. Dr. Ron Man who will bring a message, “Yes and Amen” from 2 Corinthians 1:20,
“For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God.”

Kazuko Sacon will lead us in music, with Ron bringing us the offertory and Emin Lee playing the piece, “Sen no Kaze/A Thousand Winds” as special music during the postlude as part of our All Saint`s Day commemoration.  If you have a small picture of a loved one who has died during the year to place on the altar, please bring it. We will also remember our loved ones names during a special prayer time.

Also remember to bring your full Operation Christmas Child boxes.  Please give them to the MS/HSers during worship. Thank you for your generous participation.

We also have a special guest this Sunday – Rev. Claudia (bringing us a Mission Moment) from Kobe!  After service, we will enjoy a robust fellowship hour after the service.  All are invited to stay and be refreshed by good food and conversation.

Please bring your shoe boxes to church on Sunday, November 10th for the Operation Christmas Child project.  We will be sending them to Sendai to be distributed from there.  If you don’t have a sticker for the outside of the box indicating gender and age, one will be provided for you on Sunday, November 10th.  Remember that you can put a personal note or picture inside the box so the child who receives it can learn a little about who it came from.  Please write these messages in just English or both Japanese & English.
Thanks!  HS and MS Youth Groups
