The Changing of the Seasons

Hello, WTUC Family.

I hope that you have had a wonderful week. We’ve seen a bit of a break in the heat the past few days. Between some showers and extra clouds, we’ve also had cooler temperatures, which certainly caught my attention after a few weeks of hot weather. We are definitely making the transition into a new season.

I’m so grateful to all of you for your kindness and warm welcome this past Sunday as you installed me as your pastor. I am truly thankful that I get an opportunity to serve this community during this new season of WTUC, and I look forward to walking with you as we seek to shine the light of Christ in West Tokyo.

Coming up this Sunday at 11 a.m., we’re going to be worshipping online via Zoom. We are welcoming back the Rev. Dr. Tim Boyle, who will be speaking about the Gospel according to the life of Job. You can get the details about the service, including the Zoom link, the bulletin, and hymn insert, by going to this Sunday’s event page. You can click here for the details.

One other thing before I wrap up… if you are able to help us out during our Sunday services, whether it is as a liturgist, a lector, setup, or something else, please let us know! You can learn more about this here.

I wish you all a wonderful and blessed weekend!

Blessings,
Jonathan
