Almost halfway there!
Hello, WTUC Family.
I hope that you are doing well. We’ve had quite an interesting week… we’ve gone from chilly weather and snow to spring warmth with cherry blossoms just around the corner. We’re coming up on the halfway point in our Lenten season, and I hope that you are finding this time to be one of reflection and contemplation. As a part of this journey, we will be gathering online for worship via Zoom this Sunday at 11:00 a.m. to listen to God’s Word. We’ll be learning more about the abundant grace that the Lord grants to us. You can find out more about the service on our Calendar page.
I mentioned last week about our plans for a summer WTUC retreat! We need to hear from you! Please take a moment if you could to fill out this survey, and we will be able to plan for the event accordingly!
In addition, we’ve received a request for some assistance with one of our outreach partners. JOEE needs some help finding English-speaking teachers for one of their orphanage locations: Kawasaki Aijien in Kawasaki, Kanagawa for Friday, March 28 at 4:00 p.m. The nearest train station is Miyamaedaira on the Tokyū Den-en-toshi Line. Please let her know if you can help by emailing her here!
I look forward to seeing you on Sunday. Have a wonderful rest of the week!
Blessings,
Jonathan
