Help us plan our retreat!
Dear WTUC Family,
I hope that you are doing well. We’ve been enjoying weather that is more like spring… even late spring! We’ll hopefully see the cherry blossoms pop up soon, and so I’m looking forward to seeing those pink flowers showing up.
Even though we are in spring, there’s something we should be looking forward to this summer! We are planning a WTUC Retreat, and we need you to tell us what you would like in this event! Please take a look at this note from the WTUC Retreat Committee!
Dear Friends,
WTUC is planning to have a SUMMER RETREAT!
This will be a fun, nourishing weekend for the youth and the family members as well.
Before we organize the details, we would like to hear your thoughts about this to help us plan.
Tentative date: July 24-27, 2025 (from Thursday to Sunday)
Tentative venue: Nojiri, Nagano Prefecture
Activities: Listen to a keynote speaker, sing, do workshops, do outdoor activities (example: jungle challenge, swimming, SUP, lake activities)
Please fill out this FORM by March 31, 2025. Please fill out one form per participant. If you know of anyone who might be interested, please send the form to them and request them to send the survey and we will be in touch!
Thank you very much.
WTUC Retreat Committee
We have some exciting things happening in the life of our church, and we do need to hear from you, and so please respond to the form above so that the committee can prepare!
Back to spring… this Sunday, we will be gathering in person for our Sunday morning worship service. It will be at our usual location in Room 105 of Japan Lutheran College and Theological Seminary beginning at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Dr. Jim Sack will be preaching. You can check out the details on our calendar page.
Please keep our members in your prayers. Some are still recovering from serious illnesses, while others are struggling through hay fever. Others are seeking to grow closer to Christ during this season of Lent. Let’s look to the Lord with all of these requests. You can go to our Prayer page if you would like to submit a prayer request.
Blessings, and have a wonderful rest of the week.
Jonathan
