Attention Kids, Parents, and Kids-at-Heart! VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
(Children’s Day Camp) is from August 20-24. This year’s theme is “Babylon:
Daniel’s Courage in Captivity”. Kids ages 3-11 will learn about Daniel’s

Mark 4: ²⁶He also said, “The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground, ²⁷and would sleep and rise night and day, and the seed would sprout and grow, he does not know how. ²⁸The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head. ²⁹But when the grain is ripe, at once he goes in with his sickle, because the harvest has come.” ³⁰He also said, “With what can we compare the kingdom of God, or what parable will we use for it? ³¹It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the ground, is the smallest of all the seeds on earth; ³²yet when it is sown it grows up and becomes the greatest of all shrubs, and puts forth large branches, so that the birds of the air can make nests in its shade.” ³³With many such parables he spoke the word to them, as they were able to hear it; ³⁴he did not speak to them except in parables, but he explained everything in private to his disciples.

Genesis 3:8-15

3:8 They heard the sound of the LORD God walking in the garden at the time of the evening breeze, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the LORD God among the trees of the garden.

3:9 But the LORD God called to the man, and said to him, ‘Where are you?’

3:10 He said, ‘I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked; and I hid myself.’

3:11 He said, ‘Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?’

3:12 The man said, ‘The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit from the tree, and I ate.’

3:13 Then the LORD God said to the woman, ‘What is this that you have done?’ The woman said, ‘The serpent tricked me, and I ate.’

3:14 The LORD God said to the serpent, ‘Because you have done this, cursed are you among all animals and among all wild creatures; upon your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life.

3:15 I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.'”
