Our Guest Preacher: Dr. Tom McGlothlin has served as Academic Counselor and Bible Department Head at the Christian Academy in Japan since 2015. He and his wife Linnea both grew up in Japan (Osaka and Tokyo, respectively), and they met at Lake Nojiri. They attended WTUC from 2007 to 2009 before returning to the United States, where Tom earned a Ph.D. in Early Christianity from Duke University.

Our Guest Speaker:
Audrey Thorne is the Director of Youth and Children’s Ministry at Tokyo Union Church. She is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute and Princeton Theological Seminary. Audrey and her husband Noah recently moved to Tokyo from Brooklyn, NY. They live in Daikanyama and enjoy taking long walks around the city.

Communion Celebrant:
Jonathan Oh came to Tokyo in the spring of 2014. He currently works as an on-camera meteorologist for NHK World-Japan, an international English-language broadcast service. Jonathan is also an ordained pastor with the Presbyterian Church in America and is currently serving as a tentmaking missionary in Japan, meaning he both works in the marketplace while also serving in missions. He is the coordinator for young adults group and serves as assistant director of the Fuji Fellows Program at Tokyo Union Church.
