Our guest preacher today:  Rev. Jonathan and Satomi McCurley came to ARI in 2009 as United Methodist Church (UMC) missionaries. Jonathan works as the community life coordinator, building up the community of the participants, volunteers and staff through events, relationship building and programs for spiritual growth & reflection. Satomi helps with various duties within community life and together they serve a church within the UCCJ/Nihon Kirisuto Kyodan.  Jonathan was ordained in the Florida Conference of the UMC on June 8, 2019. Congratulations and blessings on your ordination into the ministry of Word and Sacrament.

Our guest missions speaker today:  Yvonne (Yu-Rong) Wang is a Global Mission Fellow with the United Methodist General Board of Global Ministries, engaged in a two-year term of service. She was commissioned on July 28, 2019.  She is a member of Da-Zhu Methodist Church in Taipei and from Taiwan. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in animal science and biotechnology from Tunghai University and came to Japan at the end of August of this year to serve at ARI where she now helps out with guests at the Nasu Seminar House.

Our Guest Preacher : Mr. Jay Knoblock is a missionary and board member of Presbyterian Reformed Ministries International (PRMI.org) based in Black Mountain, NC. Jay is based in Seoul, Korea where he is studying Korean and ministering in several capacities. We warmly welcome Jay back to WTUC, as he ministers in Japan from time to time, as well as other countries in Asia.
